FarmVille Scam Alert: 25 free Farm Cash offer is deceiving, a fraud
As much as we'd all love 25 free Farm Cash for no reason at all, it's not going to happen anytime soon. The most recent FarmVille scam offers just that, but do not fall for it, whatever you do. While it may seem convincing--even the page that the News Feed posts links to looks legit--this is just another attempt at your personal information.
FarmVille Farm Cash Letter scam
While Zynga has rarely been known to compensate its players for extensive game outages or other reasons, this is not how the company would notify its players of that. If anything, Zynga would automatically credit your account for the Farm Cash or make it available from within the game through a pop-up window.
Again, do your FarmVille friends a favor and spread the news of this scam just like those before it. If you mistakenly clicked on the News Feed post, be sure to change your Facebook password, change similar passwords for other websites and services, and run a full virus scan. And just remember, in the words of G.I. Joe: Knowing is half the battle.

Have you or someone you know fallen victim to a FarmVille scam? How did you or they handle the situation?

Earn 2 free FarmVille Farm Cash in Puss in Boots Promotion
If you're fast, you might have a chance of taking part in a new free Farm Cash promotion located under the FarmVille gameplay area this week. This one doesn't come labeled as the particular promotion it actually turns into; rather, you're simply asked to complete an unnamed activity to earn some free Farm Cash. Once you click on the window, you'll likely be greeted by the new Puss in Boots 3D movie promotion, which seems lengthy, but really isn't.
Technically, the activity asks you to watch three movie trailers in their entirety and then vote on which one you like best. You can feel free to do that, if you're genuinely interested in the movie, or don't want to "cheat," but if you're just in this for the Farm Cash (as I know many of you are - and I can't blame you), you can speed up your time in this activity considerably by simply clicking on each video long enough to let them start playing and then clicking on the next. Within a matter of 10 seconds, you'll be able to "vote" for your favorite and will walk away with two free Farm Cash for your time.
Interestingly, this seems to be one of those promotions that won't automatically update your Farm Cash total once you return to the game. If that's the case for you, you'll need to refresh the game completely in order to (hopefully) see your Farm Cash total having risen by two. What you do with those two free Farm Cash will be up to you, but we'll continue to bring you news about how you can earn more as soon as new promotions launch.
Have you been able to take part in the Puss in Boots 3D movie promotion? Are you saving your Farm Cash for something special, or do you like to spend it right away?

Earn 4 free FarmVille Farm Cash in Capital One promotion
At this rate, perhaps we should just rename FarmVille "Capital OneVille." Why? Yet another cross-promotional activity has launched in the game, allowing users to walk away with 4 free Farm Cash. Unlike the Capital One farm and goat, or even the Capital One free gift that can be sent to friends, this promotion is found where most other free Farm Cash promotions are located: underneath the FarmVille gameplay area.
This promotion is a fairly lengthy one. Once you launch the activity window, you'll need to watch a full Capital One trailer, and can then answer some quiz and survey about what you've seen or the Capital One brand in general. Don't worry - these "quiz" questions are incredibly easy, and if I had to make a guess, it likely wouldn't matter which way you answered; you'd still likely get the Farm Cash at the end.
After manually answering one fill-in-the-blank question, the activity will finally be complete, and you'll be the proud owner of 4 free Farm Cash. This is double the amount of Farm Cash we normally see released in such promotions, so at least it excuses a bit of the additional time it takes to complete this particular activity. As usual, you'll want to complete this promotion as soon as you see it pop-up underneath your game; there's no telling when it will expire, and you will have missed your chance.
Have you seen the Capital One promotion appear under your gameplay area in FarmVille? What will you do with your four free Farm Cash? Sound off in the comments.
